Launch of the latest product movie of the SP2000 robotic platform with crimping device

Another nice automation solution for laboratories using VOC vials. No more manual de-capping, capping and crimping the caps on the vials, improving the work environment of the lab technicians tremendously, as these tedious, repetitive manual actions can cause serious wrist and hand problems. In this automation example, our SP2000 platform also automates the addition of extraction solution and internal standard.

In summary, the following has been automated:

  • The cap of the VOC vials is automatically taken
  • Extraction solution and internal standard is added
  • The vial is re-capped
  • The cap is crimped on the vial
